On May 30 – 31, 2022, Hochschule Neu-Ulm University of Applied Sciences Germany and Haaga Helia in collaboration with Jamk University Finland visited the Faculty of Economics and Business Universitas Diponegoro with the aim of establishing a more focused collaboration on student exchange program. The delegates from Hochschule Neu-Ulm University of Applied Sciences Germany were Mrs. Cornelia and Mrs. Verena Seitz, while Prof. Pasi Halmari and Mr. Jari Poikonen were representatives from Haaga Helia and Jamk University, Finland.

The arrival of the guests was warmly welcomed by the Faculty of Economics and Business Management including Dean, Head of Department, Head and Secretary of Study Program, and International Office. At the first day of visit, Mrs. Verena Seitz from International Office, Hochschule Neu-Ulm University of Applied Sciences Germany explained that their focus of student exchange program is that the students can choose a course of study from a variety of options. In the student exchange program, students will study in Germany for a minimum of 6 months, with the first 3 weeks filled with new student orientation activities. Hochschule Neu-Ulm University of Applied Sciences also prepares German language courses for beginner. While at the second day of visit, Haaga Helia University and the Faculty of Economics and Business focus on the continuation of the cooperation that has been discussed previously, which is cooperation in the field of student exchange, either Single Degree or Double Degree. Haaga Helia confirmed that they are ready to cooperate in various other possible schemes to be implemented by the both parties.

Both the Faculty of Economics and Business Universitas Diponegoro with Hochschule Neu-Ulm University of Applied Sciences Germany and Faculty of Economics and Business Universitas Diponegoro with Haaga Helia and Jamk University, are eager that the cooperative relationship between them can run smoothly, especially in the field of student exchange. The next step, both parties will immediately send the curriculum and syllabus to develop a curriculum mapping as the first step of cooperation.
