In order to accelerate economic recovery, the government has set a 2021 work plan with the theme “Accelerating Economic Recovery and Social Reform” in order to pursue medium and long-term economic recovery. However, in addition to the policies issued by the government, synergy between the government and all levels of Indonesian society is needed to support the acceleration of economic recovery in Indonesia.
Based on this, in order to welcome the 61st Anniversary, the Faculty of Economics and Business, Diponegoro University presents a mini research competition which has the aim of making students sensitive to issues and problems that exist in Indonesia. Therefore, the Faculty of Economics and Business, Diponegoro University through the Student Executive Board of the Faculty of Economics and Business held the DEFEST (Diponegoro Economic Festival) event.
This event is a prestigious national and international level writing competition which will be followed by undergraduate/D3 students from various universities in commemoration of the 61st Anniversary of FEB Diponegoro University.
In 2021, DEFEST has the theme “Economic Recovery and Strengthening Transformation in Realizing SDGs Amidst Global Uncertainty” and the sub-themes that can be selected are:
- Economics
- Business and Management
- Accounting, Finance, and Islamic Finance
