Inauguration of Professor of FEB Diponegoro University Prof. Dr. Drs. M. Chabachib. M.Si., Akt.

Diponegoro University held a Senator Meeting in the context of the Inauguration of Prof. Dr. Drs. M. Chabachib. M.Si., Akt. as a Professor in Management Science at the Faculty of Economics and Business, Diponegoro University (FEB Undip). The inauguration ceremony was held at the Prof. Soedarto, SH, Diponegoro University, Tembalang, Semarang on Thursday, June 10, 2020. This achievement increased the list of professors at FEB Undip to 17 people. In the event, Prof. Dr. Drs. M. Chabachib. M.Si., Akt. delivered a speech entitled “Company Financial Policy Towards the Implementation of Akhlakul Karimah in Indonesia”. This year, 3 professors of FEB Undip who have been inaugurated from FEB Undip include: Prof. Dr. Suharnomo, SE, M.Sc., Prof. Dr. Indira Januarti, SE, M.Sc., Akt. and Prof. Dr. Drs. M. Chabachib, M.Sc., Akt. In this senator meeting, another professor, Prof. Drs. Sapto Purnomo Putro, M.Sc., Ph.D. from the Faculty of Science and Mathematics, Diponegoro University and Prof. Dr. dr. Dwi Pudjonarko, M.Kes., Sp.S. from the Faculty of Medicine, Diponegoro University. Congratulations to the Professors and congratulations to Diponegoro University.

The 155th period of the Graduation Ceremony Faculty of Economics and Business, Diponegoro University on August 15, 2019

Faculty of Economics and Business Diponegoro University held a graduation ceremony event on Thursday, August 8th, 2019 at Patra Jasa Hotel, Semarang was attended by a bachelor’s level and Diploma III. In the event of ceremony in the 155 period in August 2019 Faculty of Economics and Business Diponegoro University has approved as many as 578 graduates, consisting of 174 graduates of Strata Level 1 and 404 in the Diploma III. Of the 578 graduates with the best of the fondness of the following: the study Program S1 management: Angelita Dianingpuri with GPA 3.98, study Program S1 Economics: Jane Natasha Girsang with IPK 3.81, Program study S1 accounting: Maria Widi Hapsari with GPA 3.94. From the Diploma III Program that received the best of the competition, among others: D III accounting Fretiya Noor Far’amana with GPA 3.98, from D III management company, Dian Anggeraini with GPA 3.95, and from DIII taxation, Khaulatussalma with GPA 3.93.

Welcome to new Student Faculty of Economics and Business school year 2019/2020

Indonesia Raya was heard reverently sung by all participants in the ceremony of the new Students Faculty of Economics and Business Diponegoro University (Faculty of Economics and Business, DIponegoro University). The event which is a series of character education and orientation of Diponegoro Muda (Pendikar-ODM) Diponegoro University held at 07.00 WIB at the Square Dekanat building Faculty of Economics and Business, DIponegoro University, Tembalang. Pendikar-ODM Faculty of Economics and Business, DIponegoro University was followed by 986 new students from the Strata Level 1 Department of Management, Economic Sciences and Development Studies (IESP) and accounting year 2019/2020. Admission of new students in the event of Pendikar-ODM faculty level was led by the ceremony leader of the student organization Faculty of Economics and Business, University of Diponegoro which was then followed by a speech from Dean Faculty of Economics and Business, University of Diponegoro, Dr. Suharnomo. Dean Faculty of Economics and Business, University of Diponegoro congratulates and thanks to new students for the choice of students to study at Faculty of Economics and Business, University of Diponegoro. The event continued with the introduction of leaders in the neighborhood of Faculty of Economics and Business, University of Diponegoro, beginning vice dean of department head, head of study Program, head of division and Head of Administration Sub-division. New students, while studying in college, in addition to lecturing should also follow the student organization (Ormawa). By following ormawa, will train soft skill toughness and that would be useful after graduating college in the work world. At the end of the greeting, Dean FEB started the event Pendikar-ODM faculty symbolically with cutting balloon tape and embeds a new student identification Co card.

Events held separate welcome housed in Hall Pertamina Faculty of Economics and Business Diponegoro University Dean Building, Tembalang. The event was attended by academicians Faculty of Economics and Business Diponegoro University consisting of faculty, staff, and students. The purpose of convening this event is the official release period 2014-2019 vice dean and vice dean introduce the period 2019-2024. Faculty of Economics and Business, University of Diponegoro Officials for the 2015-2019 period that have ended their terms of service, are Deputy Dean I for Academic and Student Affairs, Anis Chariri, Ph.D., Deputy Dean II for Resources, Wahyu Meiranto, SE., M.Sc., Deputy Dean III in Communication and Business, Amie Kusumawardhani, Ph.D., and Deputy Dean IV for Research and Innovation Firmansyah, Ph.D … Anis Chariri, Ph.D. representing remarks from the vice dean for the 2015-2019 period, thanked all parties for their support and apologizes for our mistakes and shortcomings during the term of office.. Faculty of Economics and Business, University of Diponegoro organizational structure for the period 2019-2024, the dean was assisted by two vice deans, consisting of Vice Dean I for Academic and Student Affairs and Vice Dean II for Resources. Vice Dean of the period 2019-2024 is Firmansyah, Ph.D. who earlier served as Vice Dean IV for Research and Innovation and the 2015-2019 Period II Period 2019-2024 Vice Dean Dr. Warsito Kawedar earlier served as the Director of Accounting, Diponegoro University. Congratulations to take assignments to new associate dean and a thank you to the old dean on work performance was achieved during the leadership for Faculty of Economics and Business, University of Diponegoro.

Tiga UMKM Binaan KKIB Universitas Diponegoro Menjuarai BRI UMKM Award

PT. Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero), Tbk. berkomitmen mendukung pertumbuhan sektor Usaha Mikro, Kecil dan Menengah (UMKM) di tanah air. Hal ini diwujudkan BANK BRI melalui acara bertajuk “Parade UMKM BRI”, pada tanggal 5-7 Mei 2017 di GOR Tri Lomba Juang, Semarang. Kota Semarang menjadi kota pertama yang menandai dimulainya rangkaian Parade UMKM BRI yang akan diselenggarakan di 16 kota di seluruh Indonesia. Parade ini menggelar banyak kegiatan yang dapat dimanfaatkan baik oleh pelaku UMKM maupun pengunjung, diantaranya bazaar UMKM, BRI UMKM Award, Coaching Clinic, bazaar produk keuangan BRI Group, Pengundian Grand Prize dan Hadiah Utama Program Panen Hadiah Simpedes, serta berbagai kegiatan perlombaan. Tujuan diselenggarakannya Parade UMKM ini adalah untuk meningkatkan kapasitas melalui pelatihan dan pendampingan kepada pelaku UMKM. BRI UMKM Award sendiri merupakan penyerahan penghargaan bagi kategori pengusaha startup, pengusaha mikro dan pengusaha ritel yang telah  mengembangkan usahanya dengan bermitra bersama BANK BRI. Tim Fabolous Five Mendapatkan Juara 1 Kompetisi Essay di FEB UKSW

Tim Fabolous Five FEB Undip berhasil menjadi Juara 1 Essay Competition National Management Confrence 2018 UKSW (Univeristas Kristen Satya Wacana). Acara conference digelar di Salatiga, 23 – 25 Februari 2018 dihelat oleh Fakultas Ekonomika dan Bisnis UKSW, Salatiga. Acara ini bertujuan untuk ajang untuk silaturahmi, bertukar ilmu dan berkompetisi antar mahasiswa manajemen se-Indonesia. Dalam Management Conference (Mancof) juga diadakan acara seminar, pelatihan materi, dan diseminasi hasil skripsi dari mahasiswa UKSW. Dalam acara kompetisi ini diikuti oleh tim -tim dari universitas UI dan Brawijaya, UPI Bandung, Universitas Sriwijaya, 3 tim UKSW Salatiga, Unnes dan Undip. Tim Undip terdiri dari mahasiswa Departemen Manajemen 2014 antara lain Aulia Rahman, Jihan Maulana, Renny Hapsari, Bingah Susantika dan Muhammad Zaki. Dalam babak final Tim Fabolous Five Undip telah menyisihkan 4 tim dari UPI Bandung, Brawnesia dan 2 tim tuan rumah UKSW. FEB Undip mengucapkan selamat atas prestasi yang telah diraih.

Penanaman Kembali mangrove di bulan Ramadhan oleh PKM Mangrove dan HIMA Magister Manajemen UNDIP

Perguruan Tinggi mengemban tiga tugas dalam perjalanannya. Pertama adalah pengajaran, Kedua Penelitian dan terakhir adalah Pengabdian Masyarakat. Fakultas Ekonomika dan Bisnis Universitas Diponegoro  (FEB UNDIP) menyadari pentingnya ketiga fungsi tersebut. Salah satunya adalah fungsi Pengabdian Masyarakat, dimana kampus hadir dalam pendampingan masyarakat, memberikan ilmu yang dimilikinya untuk diterapkan oleh masyarakat dan demi kemajuan masyarakat. Dalam hal Pengabdian Masyarakat , menjadi titik tekan adalah pemberdayaan masyarakat dan Lingkungan. Untuk itu salah satu Program Kreatifitas Mahasiswa (PKM ) dari FEB UNDIP mengajukan judul ke  Dikti Konservasi Mangrove, dengan metode Bersihkan, Tanami, dan Sadarkan untuk menuju ekowisata. PKM ini di prakarsai oleh 5 orang dari Universitas Diponegoro, yaitu : Ketua Faizah dari Departemen Manajemen, Lila dari Departemen IESP, Juwita dari Departemen Akuntansi, Nana dari jurusan Perikanan dan Kelautan, serta Vera dari Jurusan Teknologi Hasil Pertanian. PKM “Mangrove Tumbuh, Alam Ceria”  ini menurut ketua Tim PKM, Faizah  adalah bukti kecintaan Undip terhadap Lingkungan, “Kami menyadari benar, bahwa Laut menjadi salah satu gerbang pembangunan ekonomi di Indonesia, agar pantai Indonesia tidak mengalami abrasi dan juga kedepan bernilai ekonomis, maka kami mengajukan PKM tentang Konservasi Hutan Mangrove. Kebetulan Mangunhardjo, adalah daerah dengan panjang pantai hampir 3,7 km dan baru 40 persen yang ditanami Mangrove”. Jelas faizah pada koresponden. Dalam pelaksanaan PKM Mangrove ini, tim Mangrove Tumbuh Alam Ceria ini menggandeng PLN Wilayah Jawa Tengah dan Pemerintahan Daerah. Selain itu Juga bekerja sama dengan Himpunan Mahasiswa Magister Manajemen FEB Undip. Menurut Yaumil ketua panitia dari MM Feb UNDIP mengatakan bahwa HIMA MM UNDIP merasa tertarik dengan penanaman Mangrove, dan ke depan akan menjadi program tahunan dari HIMA MM Undip. “Minimal setiap mahasiswa MM pernah menanam 1 pohon Mangrove di pantai pantai di Jawa Tengah“ imbuh Yaumil. Penanaman dilakukan pada tanggal 29 Mei 2016, sebanyak 7000 pohon Mangrove ditanam. Penanaman ini juga melibatkan Masyarakat setempat. Dengan menggandeng Kelompok Usaha Bersama “Mangrove Lestari“  dan Juga Gabungan Kelompok Tani (Gapoktan ) Nelayan Mangunhardjo  penanaman Mangrove ini dapat dilakukan dengan lancar. Walaupun pada saat itu laut sedang mengalami pasang. Proses Monitoring tumbuhnya Mangrove dilakukan juga dilakukan untuk menjamin agar Mangrove tetap dapat tumbuh. Untuk itu Senin 21 Juni 2016, di saat bulan ramadhan ini tak menjadikan halangan bagi PKM Mangrove bersama HIMA MM Undip untuk melakukan penyulaman Mangrove yang sudah ditanam. Hampir 2000 pohon Mangrove kembali ditanam untuk mengganti pohon Mangrove yang mati ataupun hilang diterjang Ombak. Dekan FEB UNDIP , Dr. Suharnomo, S.E, MM, menyatakan sangat gembira dengan apa yang dilakukan mahasiswa PKM dan MM Undip. “Ini adalah langkah kami dalam menyelamatkan lingkungan, bahwa FEB akan terus membangun Indonesia bersama Masyarakat melalui segala lini fungsi dari Perguruan Tinggi” terang Suharnomo kepada koresponden. “Walaupun PK mini hanya berlangsung selama tahun 2016, tetapi Penanaman Mangrove akan terus berlanjut, salah satu anggotanya Lila , juga masih angkatan 2015“. imbuh Faizah sebagai ketua PKM. Dia berharap, adik adik mahasiswa angkatannya akan meneruskan apa yang sudah dilakukannya.

FEB Undip Holds “Guest Lecturer: Global Leadership” Event in Commemoration of FEB’s 59th Anniversary

Last Thursday (14/03), located in Hall Building C, Faculty of Economics and Business, a Guest Lecturer Lecture event with the theme Global Leadership. On this occasion, the International Office presented Professor Robert Evans as the International Dean of the Curtin University Faculty of Business and Law as a speaker. This event received a positive response from students, especially FEB students. This was evidenced by the large number of participants who attended this event. In line with the theme, Professor Robert delivered material about Global Leadership to the audience. On that occasion, he explained how leadership and management differ from various aspects. In order to provide an in-depth explanation regarding Global Leadership, Professor Robert also explained the various challenges in Global Leadership. Based on his presentation, there are at least 7 things that become challenges in managing global leadership, one of which is cultural differences. To support his presentation, Professor Robert gave an excerpt of how Sundar Pichai as the CEO of Google carries out his global leadership. By showing the video, it is able to provide an overview to the audience about the key to success in becoming a global leader. One thing that is synonymous with global leadership is the factor of cultural differences. Regarding cultural differences, he tried to compare Indonesian culture with Australia based on the cultural framework according to Hofstede. Referring to the material given by Professor Robert, we can see that Indonesia and Australia have very distinctive cultures.

Entrepreneurship Seminar with the Chairman of PERBANAS in FEB Undip

On Friday, March 11, 2016, Faculty of Economics and Business Universitas Diponegoro (FEB Undip) held a seminar named as Entrepreneurship Seminar: Business Innovation and Future Business Opportunity. This seminar was one of series of events held in celebrating 56th Dies Natalis FEB Undip. It was held in the Hall Room of C Building. In the opening speech, Dean of FEB Undip wished this seminar would trigger the entreprenurial sense of all participants and students. The seminar, which was moderatored by Dra. Rini Nugraheni, MM. (Lecturer of Management Department FEB Undip), invited Novitania Mundayati (Owner of “House of Moo”, Semarang), Dr. Bambang WHEP (Lecturer of FPP Undip), and Sigit Pramono (Chairman of PERBANAS, Chairman of Alumni Entrepreneur Forum) as speakers. First speaker, Novitania Mundayanti, told about her story in starting up House of Moo. Novita underlined that Product Innovation, Place, Employees, and Managment are key factors in business survival. Her striving and never-give-up attitude allow her business to keep growing. In the second session, Bambang WHEP gave tips and tricks to be more sensitive in seeking business opportunity by making self-potential judgment through SWOT (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, and Threats). Moreover, Bambang also told the important thing to do in starting up business: dare to start, start simple, confident, analysis/calculation, clear plan and vision, never give up, optimist, sure and responsible. In the last session, Sigit Pramono told that he now focused on Socio Entrepreneur. He implemented the idea of Socio Entrepreneur by presenting Bromo tourism not only as a place to enjoy sunset but also as a fun place with Jazz Gunung. This would make tourists stay for longer time and in return, make more transactions which will benefit local residents. The alumni of FEB 1983 later said that emerging and new entrepreneurs are needed in order to support Indonesia’s development.

56th Anniversary of FEB UNDIP

In order to welcome the 56th Anniversary, the Faculty of Economics and Business, Diponegoro University held a series of activities to enliven the event. The peak event, which coincided on March 14, 2016 will be filled with the inauguration of the Entrepreneurship Building which will be opened by the Minister of Research, Technology and Higher Education, Prof. HM Nasir, Ph.D., Akt. and also the Anniversary speech which will be given by the Chairman of the Board of Commissioners of the Financial Services Authority, Dr. Muliaman D. Haddad. Various Anniversary activities which began in February 2016, will also be filled with other academic and non-academic activities. For example, the National Seminar on Business Innovation and Entrepreneurship, which will be held on March 11, 2016 will be attended by Drs. Sigit Purnomo, MBA (Chairman of ASEAN Bankers), Dr. Ir. Bambang Waluyo HEP, MS., M.Agr (Entrepreneur) and also Novitania Mundayani, SE (owner of House of Moo). On the same date at 13.00, Alumni of FEB UNDIP class of 1986, will give their “advice” in the Seminar: Alumni Sharing. The International Seminar on Fraudulent Financial Reporting which will be held on March 14, 2016, will be filled with material by Prof. Dr. Kathie Cooper (University of Wollongog, Australia), Hendi Yogi Prabowo, SE., MforAccy., Ph.D. (Universitas Islam Indonesia) and also Anis Chariri, SE., M.Com., Ph.D., Ak., CA On that date and also the next day will be enlivened by a bazaar and entrepreneurship clinic which will display various products made by students and also public. Seminar on Dissemination of research results to be conducted on March 24, 2016 at Master of Science Accounting, Jl. Erlangga Tengah, will present various research results by new Doctors in the Department of Accounting, Management and Economics and Development Studies. In addition, a Business Research Methodology Workshop will be held on 18 – 21 April 2016, which will provide various materials on various tools that can be used to improve the quality of research results. The 2nd International Research Conference on Business and Economics will be held on 3-4 August 2016. At this conference, various well-known speakers from all over the world will present their research material at this event. Various non-academic activities were also organized to celebrate the Anniversary. Among them are the Healthy Walk and Alumni Gathering on March 12, 2016.  The event is expected to strengthen the relationship between alumni and the academic community of FEB. Various competitions were also conducted to strengthen the relationship between students, teaching staff and education including Fishing Competition, Tahfidz, Futsal, Volleyball and so on.
