On the 13th of January 2023, Universitas Diponegoro (UNDIP) held a coordination to collaborate with PT Sumber Alfaria Trijaya Tbk (PT Alfamart) regarding the opening of an alfamart outlet (ALFA X), employee recruitment, and management of Small and Medium Enterprises on campus, especially in the Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB). The coordination was held in the Dean’s Meeting Room, 2nd floor of Dekanat Building FEB Undip.
The coordination of collaboration was attended by the Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Business Undip (Prof. Dr. Suharnomo, SE, M.Si), Vice Dean for Resources (Dr. Warsito Kawedar, SE, M.Si, Akt.), Department of Management FEB Undip (Erman Denny Arfinto S.E. The collaboration was carried out as an initiative to improve the quality of education by creating young entrepreneurs in the retail sector on campus. Furthermore, it is also Alfamart’s sustainability commitment to support the achievement of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) target especially number 4 (quality education) and number 17 (partnership to achieve goals).
The coordination began with a material presentation by Alfamart and FEB UNDIP and continued by reviewing the location and supporting facilities on campus. This collaboration is expected to be realized soon because there are visions and missions that can be coordinated and synergized, especially for the development of human resources and Small Medium Enterprises on campus.
Hopefully, the Alfamart outlet on campus will be able to improve the implementation of the tridharma of higher education, sustainable human resource development, and business development in the implementation of Kampus Merdeka program.
