Semarang, October 10, 2023 – The Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Diponegoro (FEB Undip) recently held Posbindu PTM (Posko Pembinaan Terpadu Penyakit Tidak Menular) means an integrated guidance post for the early detection and prevention of Non–communicable diseases (NCDs). This event was first organized nationally by The Indonesian Ministry of Health, further Posbindu PTM can be implemented in multi-sectors, including government, community, schools, universities, work-places, and industry. This activity was held on Friday, October 6, at the lobby of the FEB Undip Entrepreneurship Building.
The standard programs carried out by this event were; checking blood pressure, blood sugar, uric acid, height, weight, and abdominal circumference. This activity also involved the active role of students from the Faculty of Public Health (FKM) Undip, and collaborated with UPT K3L Undip. Where they provide additional information about the importance of maintaining health and implementing a healthy lifestyle (health counseling).
This Posbindu PTM event, indicates a strong commitment of FEB Undip of collaboration in creating a healthy campus environment and supporting efforts to prevent NCDs. Hopefully similar event can continue to be carried out to support the health and welfare of the academic community in the future.
