On Monday, July 5, 2021, the Faculty of Economics and Business at Diponegoro University has successfully held the Opening Ceremony of the Summer Course 2021 Program online via Zoom. The event was the opening of the Summer Course program which was officially opened by the Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Business, Diponegoro University, Prof. Dr. Suharnomo, S.E., M.Sc. In the opening speech, Prof. Dr. Suharnomo, S.E., M.Sc. appreciate the enthusiasm of the participants in participating in this Summer Course program, as evidenced by the number of registrants totaling more than 600 registrants consisting of Indonesian students and foreign students.

This Summer Course program takes the theme “European and Asian Business Model: Challenges, Barriers, and Opportunities”. This program is carried out for approximately three weeks, starting on July 5, 2021 until July 23, 2021, and each session is held for about 3 hours. The speakers of the Summer Course program consist of Lecturers and Researchers from Undip Partner Universities abroad including from Saxion University of Applied Sciences, Curtin University, Sorbonne University Paris Cite, Tunghai University, Tunku Abdul Rahman University, Nagoya University, Chang Gung University, Universiti Teknologi MARA, University of Malaya, and Universite de La Rochelle.

The implementation of lectures in the 2021 Summer Course Program went smoothly. The enthusiasm of the participants in the Question and Answer session was very high, so the discussion was very interactive. The lecture is guided by a moderator who is a Lecturer at the Faculty of Economics and Business, Diponegoro University. At the end of the lecture session, an online exam will be held to evaluate the participants’ learning outcomes, as well as being used for the issuance of certificates and transcripts for the 2021 Summer Course participants.
