Semarang, 24, July 2023 – Located in Sidang Senat Room of the Dekanat building of the Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB) Universitas Diponegoro (Undip), a socialization and discussion meeting regarding the “Working Holiday Internship Program in Europe” was held in collaboration with PT MNC Guna Usaha Indonesia and Binawan University. The purpose of this meeting is to explore the potential of establishing mutually beneficial cooperation in developing the quality of education, especially in the MBKM Internship program.

The meeting was attended by a team from FEB Undip, including lecturers and education staff, led by Prof. Suharnomo as the Dean of FEB Undip. He welcomed the socialization and discussion activities that discussed this cooperation opportunity.

“FEB Undip is always open to collaborating with any institution both local and abroad,” he said.

During the meeting, there were Darmansyah Setia Ardhi from PT MNC Guna Usaha Indonesia and Dr. Maryuni, as a representative from Binawan University. The presence of the two representatives of the institution indicates their seriousness and interest in developing the “Working Holiday in Europe” internship program with the MBKM approach.

“The Working Holiday internship program in Europe aims to provide opportunities for Indonesian students to study and work as interns in Europe, especially in Germany during the winter holidays, around October to January,” said Dr. Maryuni.

This socialization meeting is an important first step in formulating and implementing an overseas internship program that combines the Merdeka Belajar curriculum. There is great hope that this kind of overseas internship program can be leveled up. Where in addition to working, they also have the opportunity to learn and develop skills for students and support the improvement of the quality of education in Indonesia.
