HARMONIZE SITE STANDARDIZATION, FEB UNDIP IMPROVES NEWS QUALITY

(FEB Undip, 4/10) – In order to create harmony in the delivery of appropriate information and useful goals within the scope of Diponegoro University (Undip), the Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB) held a series of socialization and website workshops for 5 working days, starting from Wednesday, September 28 – Tuesday, October 4. The series of activities were attended by administrators of each educational program (Prodi) at FEB Undip as well as other interested parties. Umi Latifah, Data Manager of the Technology, Services, Information, and Reporting Subdivision and one of the socialization and workshop companions, said that the final output after the alignment of websites within Undip was an increase in university performance achievements. The alignment includes bilingual language preferences, at least Indonesian and English, as well as consistency in uploading content. Website alignment refers to standardization guidelines. With this guideline, it is hoped that all websites within Undip will be uniform, both in content and appearance. In the future, after the standardization at the department, architecture, and school levels has been successfully implemented, the standardization will be applied at the student level in the context of the student organization environment. “If it is standardized later, (I hope) from architecture, study programs, units, students, and so on, they can add more information than the application (minimum standardization features) (bilingual language and content),” said Umi.
