Azlin Alisa Ahmad
Azlin Alisa Ahmad is a senior lecturer in the Research Centre for Shariah, Faculty of Islamic Studies, UK Bangi. Her specialisation areas are Islamic Economics, Islamic Risk Management, Islamic Capital Market, Muamalat, and Islamic Finance. She has extensive research experience in the area of Islamic Economics, Islamic Banking and Finance, such as Islamic Derivatives and Hedging, Financial Management of NGO, Business Model Based on Islamic Economic Thought, and many more. She obtained Bachelor of Economics from the International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM) double degree with Islamic Revealed Knowledge. She pursued Master’s Degree in Applied Economics from the same university (IIUM), and Ph.D. in the field of Shariah from University Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM). Currently, she is the Head of Graduate Competency, Training and Mentorship at Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia Graduate Centre.
